Madelyn and Aidan's love story began in 2019 in a Seattle University classroom during their senior year. Although they were both captivated by each other, they didn’t go on a date until after graduation when Aidan got a cute puppy. That’s all it takes, folks.

One silver lining to the pandemic was the early bond created by the new couple. Six months into their relationship, Madelyn moved in with Aidan and his parents, Dena and Gary, for what we all assumed would be two weeks. After several months, one UW master’s degree, and many quarantine board games later, Madelyn and Aidan made their own home in the spring of 2021 in Ballard, WA, with their German Shepherd, Dodger.

Since then, a few of their favorite memories have been attending concerts, traveling around the world, trivia nights with friends, and routinely trying seasonal ice cream flavors at Salt & Straw.

On December 2nd, 2023, Aidan got down on one knee, and Madelyn said "yes!" overlooking the Seattle skyline at Kerry Park—the same spot where Madelyn's father, Tim, had proposed to her mother, Britt, 35 years prior. Afterward, the young lovebirds revisited the Italian restaurant where they shared their first Valentine’s Day together. Little did Madelyn know, the evening held an unexpected surprise: a joyful gathering of 60 of their closest friends and family members, eagerly awaiting to celebrate their engagement. Rings were presented, hugs and retellings of the proposal were shared, and the night was one for the books.

Madelyn and Aidan look forward to their future together and are excited to invite their loved ones to celebrate their marriage amidst the beauty of Fallbrook, California, on June 21st, 2025. They can't wait to share this special day with all of you!

When should I get to the ceremony?

We suggest guests arrive no later than 3:30pm to have plenty of time to make your way to the ceremony location and find your seat!

What should I wear?

We would love to see our friends and family get fancy with us. We are calling our wedding attire "Garden Party Formal", which really means Black-Tie Optional with bright colors and fun with fashion encouraged!

Formal / Black-Tie Optional: Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi-length formal dresses. Please note the ceremony and reception will take place on grass, so plan your heels accordingly.
Gentlemen should wear a tuxedo or a suit and tie.

Garden Party: We want to see all the bright colors, fun fabrics, and for our guests to play a little with their outfits! See the pinterest Inspo Board below. We can't wait to see you in all your fabulous outfits!

Are kids or plus-ones invited?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. Due to the capacity of our reception venue, we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by May 5th!

What type of food will be served?

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. Please provide your entree choice for each guest in your RSVP.

Where can I find the couple's registry and where should I send any gifts?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home included on our registry or contribute to our honeymoon/house/Dodger fund via our cash registry. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

What time will the wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

The festivities at Jeune Perche must end by 10 pm. However, we plan to keep the party going at The Brick Hotel bar in Oceanside, CA.

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?

Our wedding venue provides ample parking for guests on-site. Although, we suggest guests carpool or use Uber/Lyft/taxi.
